Due to adverse weather conditions affecting the Azores Archipelago, SATA Group operations are being impacted.
In this context, and for all passengers wishing to voluntarily change their travel plans, SATA will offer flexibility under the following conditions:
- Involved Airlines
Operator: SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines
Affected travel period: Flights from May 22 to May 24, 2026
- Flight Changes
For all bookings on May 22, 23 and 24, changes are permitted without penalties or fare differences for flights up to May 29, provided they are made in the same cabin and on flights operated by SATA (including ACMI).
- Reissues and Revalidations
To proceed with ticket reissue or revalidation, please contact the Helpdesk through the usual channels for your market.
- Refunds
Not authorized.
Notes
Voluntary changes requested by passengers, without flight cancellation, do not entitle passengers to assistance or compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004. The right to assistance applies only in the event of an actual flight cancellation.
